IBDK was founded to address a simple but critical gap: where a woman lives should not determine the quality of breast cancer care she receives.
The Institute of Breast Disease (IBDK) is a non-profit academic and clinical organisation focused on improving breast health outcomes across India and other low-and middle-income countries. Our work integrates patient care, locally relevant research, and structured education to strengthen early detection, appropriate treatment, and long-term continuity of care.
By developing cost-effective innovations, de-patenting clinical tools, and training healthcare providers across urban and rural settings, IBDK works to ensure that evidence—not access, income, or geography—guides breast cancer outcomes.
